Sujit Roy Nandi, Relief and Social Welfare Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League, said that it is the tradition of Awami League to stand by the side of helpless victims.<\/p>\n

He was speaking as the chief guest at a function to provide cash assistance to helpless people affected by the fire at Charbhairabi Bazaar No. 8 in Haimchar Upazila on Wednesday (March 30) morning.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of the People’s Awami League Relief and Social Welfare Sub-Committee handed over Tk. And also assisted in the mosque adjacent to the market.<\/p>\n

Sujit Roy Nandi said that even a decade ago, the country’s economy was doomed due to lack of electricity, industry and trade were stagnant and load shedding in public life was unbearable. Success in the power sector has been achieved today as a result of the visionary, courageous leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of Bangabandhu, and timely decision making and implementation.<\/p>\n

He urged the administration to take strict action against illegal sand miners in Meghna and Padma rivers.<\/p>\n

Sujit Roy Nandi said, Bangladesh Awami League has always been by the side of Haimchar people, it is and will be by its side in future too.<\/p>\n
