Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam has said that the much-awaited inauguration of the Padma Bridge will be grand. He said that during the inauguration of Padma Bridge, it will be replicated in 64 districts simultaneously.<\/p>\n

The information was given by the cabinet secretary after a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her office on Monday.<\/p>\n

He said the inauguration of Padma Bridge would be super gorgeous inshaAllah. There will be simultaneous replication in 64 districts. Here is the original opening, there will be replication everywhere.<\/p>\n

The bridge department has already formed several sub-committees to organize the inaugural function. The bridge will be inaugurated through colorful arrangements. On the inauguration day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address a public meeting. Members of the cabinet, senior members of the Awami League, diplomats and guests of different levels will be invited to the event.<\/p>\n

The much awaited Padma Bridge will be opened to the public on June 25. The bridge will be opened for traffic after the inauguration of the Prime Minister on that day.<\/p>\n

The government has already fixed toll for vehicles crossing the Padma Bridge. At the same time, it has specified what kind of vehicles will be able to move on the bridge.<\/p>\n

According to the notification, 13 types of vehicles will be able to move on the bridge. However, Nasiman, Karimon, Bhatvati and CNG autorickshaws will not be able to operate. People can’t even walk.<\/p>\n
