Chess competition organized by Yuva Sangh Club on Great Victory Day in Dumuria

On the occasion of the Great Victory Day celebration in Dumuria, Khulna, Jubo Sangh Club organized a chess and international bridge competition on December 17 in the Jubo Sangh Club’s own building. Fifty chess players from different areas participated in the Swiss League chess competition.
At the end of the day-long competition, Pallab Saha of Keshabpur Upazila won the first place and Tk 15,000 as prize money was handed over to the winner by the club authorities. Abu Saeed Ahmed, former head teacher of the district school, club president Mosharraf Hossain Kochi, general secretary Afchar Hossain Zoaddar, were present at the time of the club. Assistant Professor Khan Nurul Islam, Khan Anichur Jjaman, Khan Afzal Hossain, Sheikh Kamruzzaman Tipu, Masud Rana Nantu, Anich Biswas, Sheikh Mosharraf Hossain, Ed. Mosharraf Hossain, Shafiqul Islam, Samaresh Mondal.
The International Bridge Competition will begin in the morning on Sunday, December 18.
