609 lucky farmers won lottery in Boro paddy collection

“Farmers are very happy now, the price of rice is high”.
With this theme, the Rupsa Upazila Food Department organized an open lottery among the farmers on the occasion of internal Borodan collection 2023-24 at 11 am on May 13, at the Upazila Parishad square.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kohinur Jahan inaugurated the farmer selection ceremony.
Present at this time – Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Md. Alamgir Hossain, upazila food officer Sujit Kumar Mukherjee, secondary education officer Irene Parveen, primary education officer. Aminul Islam, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Himanshu Roy, Academic Supervisor Nityanand Mondal, Ghatbhog Union Chairman Molla Wahiduzzaman Mizan, Upazila Krishak League President A: Mannan, Food Godown Incharge Amin Uddin Moral and other working journalists were present.
There are 645 rice farmers in 3 blocks of Rupsar Aichgati Union. 51 of them are lucky farmers.
There are 2572 farmers cultivating paddy in 3 blocks in Sriphaltala Union. Among them lucky farmers – 205 people.
In Naihati Union, there are 1321 farmers cultivating paddy in 3 blocks. Among them lucky farmers – 105 people.
867 farmers cultivated paddy in 3 blocks in TSB Union. 70 of them are lucky farmers.
2238 farmers cultivated paddy in 3 blocks in Ghatbhog union. Among them lucky farmers – 178 people. A total of 609 lucky farmers were selected through lottery.
