Awami League nomination forms will be sold from next Saturday – conditions to be met

The sale of nomination forms will be started from next Saturday among the Awami League nomination candidates in the 12th National Assembly Elections. It will continue until 4 pm on Tuesday.
This information was informed in a press release signed by the office secretary of the party Biplab Barua on Thursday.
According to the notification, the date for collection and submission of nomination forms has been fixed from next Saturday to Tuesday (10 am to 4 pm daily). Interested candidates should collect and submit the application form for party nomination from the designated booth of the administrative department of the Awami League Central Office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue.
It is said that the nomination papers of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chittagong divisions and Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions will be distributed on the second floor of the central office. Nomination papers of all categories will be collected on the ground floor of the central office.
Awami League nomination aspirants have to collect and submit the application form by the candidate himself or through a qualified representative of the candidate without any additional gathering of people.
At the time of collection of application form, photocopy of candidate’s national identity card must be brought along and three posts along with mobile number and current organizational identity must be clearly mentioned on the photocopy.
Meanwhile, in a press conference at Dhaka district Awami League office in Tezgaon, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the sale of nomination forms at the party’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue from the meeting of the National Election Steering Committee formed on the occasion of the 12th National Parliament Election on Friday.
He said that the Prime Minister will be connected virtually to the central office from Dhaka district Awami League office. The sale of nomination forms will start from the next day on Saturday among the interested candidates of Awami League.
