Lebanese police have arrested a man for claiming to be a prophet. His name is Nashat Munthar.
A man claiming to be a prophet was arrested in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Monday, the Libyan Express reported.
Nashat refers to himself as ‘Nabi Nashat Majad Noor’ on his social media page. He claims to be a prophet sent by God.
Nashat claims that his followers have found the light inside him.
The Egyptian virtual world began to react strongly to this. The hypocrite was arrested in the face of fierce criticism.
The country’s state security department has arrested Nashat on a number of charges. He is accused of claiming to be a prophet, threatening journalists and disrespecting “friendly” Egypt.
He is currently under investigation.
