In Mongla, the Jamuna gas lorry crushed the Jahangir-Munni couple

A couple on a motorcycle died in a road accident at Rampal in Bagerhat. The accident took place at 7:00 pm on Saturday (April 2) at the Baburbari bus stand adjacent to the Khulna-Mongla highway thermal power plant. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, 61, and his wife Mosa Munni Begum, 55.
According to police and locals, on their way to Mongla on a motorcycle from their village home Barguna, they collided with a Jamuna Company gas truck (Jessore T 11-2553) coming from the other side near Baburbari bus stand.
At that time they both died on the spot
Police and fire service later went to the spot and recovered the bodies A responsible source of Rampal police confirmed the accident. No case has been filed in the police station till the writing of this report.
