Why and when are piles ..? What is the remedy …?
// Daily World Desk //
Physicians do not yet know the exact definition of piles. Because the true nature of this disease is not yet fully understood. By piles we mean a mass of swollen blood vessels inside the anus. All human beings have such blood vessels or ‘cushions’. So in the real sense, we say piles or ‘hemorrhoids’ only when it is causing some kind of symptom. Such as lumps outside the anus or bleeding. Each person has three piles or ‘cushions’. There may be small piles in the middle of large piles. When defecating, the veins sag a little and become swollen with blood, then rupture and bleed.
Laparoscopic and laser surgeon of Eden Multi-Care Hospital (Pvt.) Gave details about this. Asif Almas Haque.
When piles occur: Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the 30’s and 60’s. Piles under the age of 20 are not very common. The disease is slightly more common in men than women.
Reason: Despite centuries of research, the real cause of piles has not been uncovered. However, some diseases accelerate the onset of piles, such as excessive bowel movements, irregular bowel movements, constipation, diarrhea, etc. There are other factors that can cause piles, such as heredity, prolonged standing, prolonged heat, heavy weight lifting, pregnancy, wearing tight clothing, hormonal effects, lack of fibrous foods, etc.
Symptoms: External piles have swelling outside the anus and may cause some pain or discomfort. In case of internal piles, fresh red blood is seen in the toilet. There is no pain. Bleeding at the end of defecation. Blood drips and drips again. If there is more pain and burning after bleeding, then there may be anal fissure or cancer. The patient may suffer from deep anemia as the blood flows. The piles may hang out of the anus. In that case, at the end of defecation, the piles may enter automatically. Piles usually do not hurt. Pain can occur if there is thrombosis or if the piles are hanging out too much. It is not only piles disease in the rectum but also many other diseases of which twenty percent of the patients are infected with piles.
Ways to prevent:
The only way to prevent this disease is to treat constipation and diarrhea in a timely manner, not to read papers / books while sitting on the toilet, to eat fibrous things with food such as fruits, vegetables, salads, to drink 6-7 glasses of water daily, not to gain weight. , Not staying in excess heat for long, etc.
