//Daily World News Desk //

Raber director general M Khurshid Hossain said, “Myanmar has wanted to fight with Bangladesh for a long time, since a long time ago. Starting from putting Rohingyas to the feet…. Hon’ble Prime Minister’s tenacity and wisdom; He will never engage in war. Because, me joining the war now means the end of the country.

The RAB chief made this comment in response to questions from journalists after a program at Kashiani in Gopalganj on Saturday afternoon. He was the chief guest at the felicitation ceremony and awarding of scholarships to meritorious students at MA Khalek Degree College grounds in Kashiani.

RAB chief M Khurshid Hussain while explaining the reason for the Myanmar government’s involvement in the war said, “Myanmar now has a military government.” They now want that they (Myanmar’s junta government) will be safe if they stop the war. Because of the situation created in his country, the Arakan Army of his country is going against him and occupying various places. The government (Myanmar’s junta government) is inciting to survive.’

Referring to Myanmar as a major drug smuggling route, RAB Director General said, drugs are now coming more from Myanmar. It is being shipped as planned. Drug control is a big challenge now. This route will be closed at any cost. Drugs are the biggest business in Bangladesh. Get rich overnight business. Everyone, including the public representatives, knows who does this business. But knowing everything doesn’t help law enforcement. No single force can eliminate drugs. In order to eradicate drugs, we all have to build a social movement together.

M Khurshid Hossain also said that if drugs are passed on to the next generation, then the country will be under threat. Although the Indian border is controlled, various drugs including yaba and ice are being smuggled from Myanmar. Drug control should go for ‘all out action’. Godfathers, gangs of teenagers will not be spared.

Khurshid Hossain said, to save the new generation, it is not enough to give only books and accounts. But this reality is no more. So children should be taught from childhood. Ethics should be learned from the family. Children must be raised from scratch. You will not be able to learn these things by reading in the university-college. Basic morals should be learned from the family, in this case the parents have the main role and then the teachers.

Addressing the teachers and parents, the Director General said, you have to be a model. Because your place is after family. You have to give proper education. And sending children to school-college and sitting at home is not enough. Information should be kept whether the availability of drugs is killing the child or not.

Pointing out that there is a shortage of experienced people in the country, Khurshid further said that there is a severe lack of professionalism in every cadre now. Like there is a shortage in education, there is a shortage in professionalism, there is a shortage in discipline. We must try to fulfill it from now on. So that the next generation does not become disobedient.

RAB-6 captain Lt. presided over the inauguration ceremony organized on MA Khalek Degree College ground. Colonel Feroz Kabir. Acting Deputy Commissioner Azaharul Islam, Principal of MA Khalek Degree College KM Mahabub, former headmaster of Bhatiapara High School Zahidur Rahman, District Education Officer Salim Talukder, Superintendent of Police (Operation) Kazi Mahabubul Alam and others were also present.
