Health Minister Zahid Malek has said that 6 million US-made Pfizer vaccines will arrive in the country by September. This is good news for Bangladesh in the midst of the US-made Moderna and Pfizer ticker crisis.

The health minister said this while talking to reporters at the secretariat on Monday.

The health minister said Bangladesh will get 100 million vaccines through the World Health Organization in addition to the Pfizer vaccine.

Pfizer will get 6 million vaccines by September. Some will come this month, the rest in September. In addition, 100 million doses of vaccine will come through the World Health Organization. ‘

The health minister further said that the coroner’s mass vaccination activities are not taking place at present. When the vaccine arrives, everyone must register and get vaccinated.

Health Minister Zahid Malek also hoped that 6 to 7 crore people would be vaccinated between January and February.
