A young motorcycle rider was killed: hit by an electric pole in Domar

A young man named Rakib Islam (17) was killed in a head-on collision with a motorcycle and an electric pole at Nilphamari Domar. The accident took place at around 7pm on Friday at Okhrabari, West Para, Ward 7, Jorabari, Nilphamari Domar Upazila.
Two more people were injured in the incident. They were taken to Debiganj Upazila Health Center. The deceased was identified as Rakib Islam, 18, son of Khairuddin of Ward 7 of Jorabari Union. The injured have been identified as Ripon Islam, 15, son of Rana Islam of the same neighborhood and Palash Roy, 18, son of Khoka.
Domar Police Station (Acting) OC confirmed the matter on Saturday morning, saying the motorcyclist himself came home and collided head-on with a power pole, killing one and seriously injuring two others.
