High Commissioner of India to inspect Chilahati railway station and border area

Indian Assistant High Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Bhati visited Chilahati railway station and Indian border area in Bhogdaburi union of Domar upazila of Nilphamari.

When he reached Chilahati railway station in Domar upazila of Nilphamari district by road at 10:30 am on Friday (September 24), he was greeted with flowers by Tushar Kanti Roy, revenue officer of Nilphamari customs office, Mostafizur Rahman, assistant revenue officer and Ashraful Islam, station master of Chilahati railway station.

Also present were Naik Subedar Aminul Islam of Chilahati BGB, Domar Thana Officer-in-Charge Saiful Islam, Nurul Islam in-charge of Chilahati Investigation Center, Ganesh Kumar Agarwala, Joint Convener of Upazila Juba League, AKM Basangir, President of Bhogdaburi Union Juba League.

Indian Assistant High Commissioner Sanjeev Kumar Bhati inspected the development work at Chilahati station and asked which passports the people of the two countries would travel through, and what goods imported from India would arrive at Chilahati railway station by this railway, how Indian trains would return to India Discuss the issues.

The Indian Assistant High Commissioner then exchanged greetings with local journalists and said that all the work being done between the two countries along the border would be completed gradually.

He then inspected the Bangladesh-India rail link along the Main Pillar 782/3-S Pillar on the Dangapara border in Bhogdaburi Union. He was accompanied by Tushar Kanti Roy, Revenue Officer, Nilphamari Customs Office, Mostafizur Rahman, Assistant Revenue Officer, Saiful Islam, Officer-in-Charge, Domar Police Station, Nurul Islam, In-Charge of Chilahati Police Investigation Center, Chilahati Dangapara BGB officials and other officials of the administration.

After inspecting the rail link between Bangladesh and India, he exchanged greetings with the local dignitaries. Finally, Assistant High Commissioner of India Sanjeev Kumar Bhati left for Debiganj I Badeswari temple in Panchagarh district by road.
