I am looking forward to the day when we will not need a visa to come and go in India.
The government is trying to strengthen relations with India, said Foreign Minister. Dr. AK Abdul Momen. “I am looking forward to the day when no visa is required to travel to and from neighboring countries, including India,” he said. We will have no obstacles with them.

“We are celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence as well as the 50th anniversary of our diplomacy with India,” he added. I would also like to thank the people of the country for this, because the party that brought independence to this country, the nation has given them the opportunity to do these celebrations by voting.
Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar, Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Shri Vikram K Doraiswamy and Ambassador of Bhutan Rinchen Quinsell were also present on the occasion. President of the organization Muktijoddha Nurul Apan presided over the function.
