Jasim Uddin receives award from Women and Child Skill Development Foundation (WCDF)

At the 2022 edition of the Women and Child Skill Development Foundation (WCDF), Jasim Uddin, a Bangladeshi-American living in the United States, was honored in literature for his outstanding contribution as a mainstream American author of Bengali and English literature. Mr. Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, Director, Super Denim Textile Mills Ltd. received the award from the Chief Guest Hon’ble Planning Minister MA Mannan MP for Jasim Uddin’s stay in New York, USA.
The Women and Child Skill Development Foundation organized a discussion, meritorious honors and cultural program on the occasion of Independence and Women’s Day in the auditorium of Muktijoddha Hall of Institution of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) Kakrail on Saturday 19th March 202.2 at 7 pm. Chairman of the organization Lion Anwara Begum Nipa presided over the function. Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Planning of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. MA Mannan MP was present as the Chief Guest. Hon’ble Planning Minister said Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has set an unprecedented example in the development and empowerment of women in the country.
