Observance of National Day of Mourning in Amtali, Barguna

The 47th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great architect of independence and the best Bengali nation for a thousand years, was celebrated in Amtali, Barguna, with various events and programs throughout the day.
On the occasion of celebrating the day on Monday, Amtali Upazila Awami League organized hoisting of the national flag and party flag at the party office at 7:15 a.m., holding the black badge at 7:15 a.m. and laying flowers on the statue of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman built in the Amtali municipality square, discussion meeting at 9:00 a.m. , a discussion meeting organized by Upazila Awami League at eleven in the morning, recitation from the Holy Quran at the Upazila Awami League office throughout the day, at fifteen in the afternoon prayers and milad for the salvation of the souls of the martyrs and special prayers in all the temples, churches and pagodas of Amtali for the salvation of the souls of the martyrs.

In various discussion meetings held on the occasion of the day, the speakers said that Bangabandhu dreamed of an independent red green Bangladesh, today we are independent and free. Therefore, we have to build ourselves and the future generations in the ideals of the father of the nation by keeping the freedom achieved by Bangabandhu with dignity and respect. Only then will the fresh blood of Bangabandhu and his family members and millions of people be valued.
