The freedom fighters received the certificate from hands of Rajakar’s son

Rajaraputra Upazila Chairman Samchuddin Kalu distributed certificates and smart NID cards among the freedom fighters in Nangalkot of Comilla. This certificate was distributed in the seminar room of the Muktijoddha Complex Bhavan in the organization of the Upazila Mukti Sangsad yesterday afternoon. A great controversy has arisen between freedom fighters and common people.
According to sources, Upazila Mukti Sangsad supported by Upazila Chairman Samchuuddin Kalu organized a program to distribute Smart Mukti Sadan and Smart NID cards among freedom fighters across the upazila. Upazila Chairman Samchuuddin Kalu was made the chief guest in this event.
Recently, Upazila Chairman Samchuuddin Kalu said, “My father was a member of the peace committee, there is a storm of criticism and discussion in various newspapers and social media on Facebook.” Kalu’s father Haji Ali Akbar was a member of the peace committee during the liberation war.
Holy Mukti Sadan and Smart N ID cards were distributed among the freedom fighters by Samchuuddin Kaluke, the son of a member of the peace committee. Which is managed by Chairman’s PS former Maukra UP chairman freedom fighter Ishaq Miah. Ishaq Mia is also accused of taking 150 taka from each freedom fighter to organize this event.
On the condition of anonymity, several freedom fighters expressed their anger and said, “We fought to take the Mukti Sadan from the hands of the son of the member of the peace committee. The country is over. Who will see these things? Again the chairman of this event PS Ishaq Miah took Tk 150. Wishing the vision of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina.
Upazila Executive Officer Raihan Mehbub, Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Ashraful Haque and Mayor Abdul Malek were present in this event.
At the end of the ceremony, the entire upazila gave smart certificates and smart N ID cards to all the freedom fighters and prayed for all the deceased freedom fighters.
