Putin sent a letter to Kim – what was the message in that letter?

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu met with the country’s leader Kim Jong-un during his visit to North Korea. The Russian Defense Minister visited the country this week to take part in North Korea’s “Victory Day” celebrations.
Meanwhile, a Chinese delegation also visited North Korea to attend the event.
This is the first time a Russian defense minister has visited North Korea since the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s.
According to North Korean media, Shoigu gave a letter from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kim Jong Un.
Kim-Jong Un thanked Putin for sending a military delegation to North Korea led by the Russian Defense Minister.
Kim-Jong Un said the visit deepened the strategic and traditional relationship between North Korea and Russia.
The North Korean leader has repeatedly stated his firm belief that the Russian army and people will achieve great success in the struggle to build a strong country.
North Korean state media did not mention the Russia-Ukraine war in Kim Jong-un’s quotes. But North Korean Defense Minister Kang San Nam said Pyongyang has full support for Russia’s fight for justice. At the same time, North Korea has full support for Moscow on the issue of protecting Russia’s sovereignty.
