Massive Election Preparation: Candidates Awaiting for Valuable Votes

The 12th National Assembly election is on January 7. In Khulna-4 Constituency, among the 3 upazilas – Rupsa, Terkhada and Dighlia areas, polling station preparations have been completed in various institutions. Among the 12 candidates, 7 party candidates and 5 independent candidates will receive their votes in all these polling stations.
Khulna- The number of voters in Rupsa is 1,55,480 out of 4 constituencies, 59 polling stations. The number of voters in Terkhada upazila is 1,02,171 people, 36 polling stations and the number of voters in Dighlia upazila is 97,502 people, 38 polling stations. Voting will be held in all these centers.
In this case, the voters will be able to vote freely from 8 am to 4 pm amid extensive government security for the exercise of voting rights. Presiding and polling officers, police, Ansar-VDP female and male members are going to these polling stations. Besides, for additional security, police intelligence wing and police patrol team along with army, RAB and BGB teams will continue patrolling.
The party candidates in the election are – Awami League nominated candidate Abdus Salam Murshedi Prateik – (Boat). Bangladesh Nationalist Movement SM Ajmal Hossain Symbol- (Anchor). Bangladesh Congress Monira Sultana Pratik- (Dub). Jatiya Party Md. Farhad Ahmed Prateek- (Plough). National People’s Party Md. Mostafizur Rahman Symbol- (Mango). Islami Oikyazot Riaz Uddin Khan Symbol- (Minar). Trinamool BNP Sheikh Habibur Rahman Symbol- (Gold Scale). Moreover independent candidates are – HM Roshan Jami symbol – (scissors). M, D, Ehsanul Haque symbol- (Sofa). SM Morttaza Rashidi Dara Pratik- (kettle). Md. Jewel Rana Prateek- (Truck). Md. Rezvi Alam is participating in the election campaign in Pratik- (Eagle).
