Khulna Narcotics Control Directorate arrested two drug dealers with a huge quantity of drugs in a special operation.
The arrested are Md. Faisal Hossain (23) and Sohel Rana (26). At that time, 94 kg of Gaza, 1 thousand 520 pieces of Yaba and 33 bottles of Phencidil were seized from them and 02 motorcycles used in drug trade were seized. On Wednesday at 5 pm based on secret information Directorate of Narcotics Control, District Office, Khulna under the leadership of Md. Mizanur Rahman raided the raiding team of “K” circle in Lockpur area of Fakirhat upazila.
At that time, the two-storey tenant of the house owned by Bithi Begum raided the house of Akhter Mia and arrested them and recovered and seized the said evidence.
Additional Director of Narcotics Control Directorate, Divisional Office, Khulna Md. Ahsanur Rahman supervised the operation overall. In the interrogation of the defendants, the tenant of the said house, Akhtar Mia, said that they were carrying on drug business for a long time.
